Washington Thriving is in the final stage of their Strategic Plan. After incorporating feedback from earlier drafts, they are requesting comments on this last draft before submitting their plan for the future of the prenatal through age 25 behavioral health system to the legislature this November. Comments are due by September 15.

The federal reconciliation bill created a $50 billion Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). Federal funds will be available from 2026-2030. To participate in the program, each state’s Medicaid office must submit a detailed Rural Health Transformation Plan that is approved by the Center for Medicaid Studies (CMS). The Washington Climate Partnership is inviting Washington residents ages 16-26  to discuss the new Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP) from 1-3 p.m. on August 23. The CCAP is a statewide effort to develop strategies for Washington's climate goals for 2030 and beyond.

On July 17, the Federal government closed the 988 Lifeline’s subnetwork for LGBTQIA2S+ youth ages 13-24. The terminated line provided specialized assistance with mental health crises, substance use concerns, and access to resources for these at-risk youth.
