The 2024 Region 10 Opioid Summit is anticipated to be held both virtually and in-person in Boise, Idaho on July 25 & 26. At this time, we are exploring the ability to hold at least some components of the conference virtually, however, we are asking that all presenters attend in-person. The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have released two 2024 notice of funding opportunities (NOFOs) for the Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program. The two NOFOs include one for new coalitions who are applying for their first five years of DFC funding; the other is competing continuation for coalitions that have received five years of DFC funding and are applying for years six to ten of funding. In partnership with Child Trends, The Asian American Foundation (TAAF) is looking for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) young people, ages 14-18, to participate in focus groups on mental health.
