2025 DFC funding opportunities
The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have released two 2025 notice of funding opportunities (NOFOs) for the Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program. The two NOFOs include one for initial applications from coalitions. These are coalitions that are applying for their first five years of DFC funding. The other NOFO is a competing continuation for coalitions that have received five years of DFC funding and are applying for years six to ten of funding. Applications are due Monday, May 5.
The DFC program mobilizes community leaders to identify and respond to the drug problems unique to their communities and change local environmental conditions tied to substance use. Coalitions can receive up to $125,000 per year for up to five years.
DBHR provides some application support to coalitions in Washington that apply. For more information, email Ray Horodowicz.
