One Pill Can Kill is a U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) initiative that seeks to spread the word about the dangers of fentanyl and fake pills. It’s main message – “Do not take a pill that has not been prescribed for you by a medical professional and filled by a registered pharmacy. Your help is saving lives. As announced at the annual contractor meeting, DBHR and CPGSI will be carrying out extensions to the end dates of contracts and programs after reviewing the Minerva data available to date. With some minor adjustments to data entry processes that will be announced soon, we have decided to move forward for the remainder of the 2023 state fiscal year in this way.

Washington State is working to create a youth safety and well-being line available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to address youth safety and well-being concerns. The Drug Enforcement Administration and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) are once again co-sponsoring the annual Red Ribbon Campus Video PSA Contest.
