The King County Department of Community and Human Services’ Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (DCHS/ BHRD) used a Washington State Opioid Response (SOR) Grant for project designed to ensure language access to opioid prevention materials. The end result was the translation of the Stop Opioid Overdose brochure and Starts With One campaign materials into 22 different languages. An overview of this project is attached.

On February 11, President Biden proclaimed February as National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month. 

The proclamation highlighted new resources and programs for communities to prevent and address teen dating violence. The President also cited Title IX protections for students based on gender identity and sexual orientation to support transgender students who experience higher rates of violence.

The Washington State Department of Veteran's Affairs (WDVA) is holding a branding competition.
