DBHR seeks volunteers for its prevention awards review team!
Each year, outstanding prevention professionals are recognized during the Prevention Awards of Excellence ceremony at the Health Care Authority's Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery's annual Prevention Summit. Working behind the scenes, volunteers make these awards possible!
If you're interested in giving back and recognizing individuals and organizations making an impact in Washington, consider joining the 2024 Prevention Awards of Excellence review team!
As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to:
- Review the previous year’s overview and nomination packet documents and offer suggestions to improve the nomination process (January-February 2024);
- Review and rate nominations (August 2024); and
- Provide feedback on the volunteer experience and award process and offer suggestions for improvement (November-December 2024).
Want to join the team?
Please email Martha Williams expressing your interest in volunteering.
Note: Martha is looking for five to six prevention professionals of varying experience levels to join the review team by Friday, January 19.
