DBHR seeks volunteers for its prevention awards review team!

Each year, outstanding prevention professionals are recognized during the Prevention Awards of Excellence ceremony at the Health Care Authority's Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery's annual Prevention Summit. Working behind the scenes, volunteers make these awards possible! 

If you're interested in giving back and recognizing individuals and organizations making an impact in Washington, consider joining the 2024 Prevention Awards of Excellence review team!

Call for Prevention Professionals to volunteer for the 2024 Prevention Awards of Excellence Review Team

What is involved? The Review Team reviews the previous year’s Overview and Nomination Packet documents during January and February, making suggestions on improvements, suggestions on how to market the awards to encourage more participation, and to make suggestions on how to simplify the nomination process. Any meetings are via Microsoft Teams. Award nominations are accepted during the April – August time frame; there are no Review Team meetings or duties during the nomination period.
