The Washington State Health Care Authority Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is excited to announce the apparent successful applicants for the Dedicated Cannabis Account (DCA) and Mental Health Promotion Project (MHPP) community-based organization (CBO) from the request for applications shared earlier this year!

The Washington Health Care Authority (HCA) has been officially recognized as a Healthy People 2030 Champion by the U.S. Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion for our efforts to improve health and well-being at the local, state, and tribal levels.

DBHR's Focus On campaign received the Outstanding Social Media Campaign Award!

Health Care Authority's Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery's (DBHR) Focus On campaign won the Internet Advertising Competition Awards’ Outstanding Social Media Campaign. In particular this award is in acknowledgement of the screenshot, vertical video ads for Finding Joy and Refusal Skills.

Registration for Healthy Youth Survey 2023 opening soon!

Registration for the 2023 Washington State Healthy Youth Survey (HYS) will open on April 12. Schools in Washington state with students in grades 6, 8, 10, or 12 are eligible to participate. Participation is free to schools.

SAVE THE DATES: March 2023 New Coordinator Basic Training Series (Closed)

DBHR is planning another series of New Coordinator Basic Training (NCBT) in March 2023. All new CPWI coalition coordinators, who have not attended a previous NCBT series are strongly encouraged to attend.
