The Friends for Life and For Our Lives overdose prevention campaigns are introducing additional toolkit materials that partners can use in their communities to educate teens and young adults about fentanyl and overdose prevention.
The campaign teams will review the new materials during a webinar on August 6, noon-1 p.m. The information session will also include a brief update from the Starts with One prescription opioid misuse campaign. Register to attend the webinar here.
The webinar will cover:
- New Friends for Life PSAs, localizable materials, and a series of posters designed in collaboration with coalitions and high school students in Washington.
- The For Our Lives opioid and fentanyl overdose awareness program created for and by Native communities in Washington state. Made-to-order resources are available for Tribes, Tribal schools, and partners at no cost.
- The Starts with One campaign’s recently refreshed resources and information on pain management and safe medication disposal and storage.
No-cost technical assistance is available to coalitions, prevention professionals, schools, and other organizations that want to customize the toolkit materials to their organization.
