FY2025 Spending Plan for YCCTPP Additional Tobacco Funds is Available!

We are excited to send out the finalized FY2025 Additional Commercial Tobacco Spending Plan for Washington State’s Youth Cannabis and Commercial Tobacco Prevention Program.

We had over 30 individuals provide feedback via survey, listening session, and 1-on-1 conversations. We appreciate the time spent to share thoughts and concerns regarding the funding allocated this upcoming year. Additionally, I want to express our team’s gratitude to all those that champion this program and it’s benefit for Washingtonians. We wouldn’t have gotten this funding without you, so thank you!

Attached is a PDF of the Spending Plan and the Supplemental Feedback Document. The Supplemental document provides feedback themes from our comment period, an explanation of the changes made to the document from it’s draft form, and action steps.

So what happens next? The next 3 weeks our team will begin to identify staff leads for state initiative projects. Any areas that require a purchase order or contract will be prepped this month to begin processing on July 1, 2024.
