Understanding Grief After Suicide Workshop

Forefront Suicide Prevention invites you to our workshop on suicide grief. This workshop is for individuals, families or communities who are bereaved by suicide. The workshop is also designed for anyone wanting to learn how to support a loved one or friend who is bereaved by suicide.

This workshop will shine light on concepts rarely discussed in our culture:

  • Are your experiences ‘normal’?
  • Will you find joy again?
  • What does useful support for a suicide loss survivor look like?

These and many other questions will be answered in this interactive two-hour session.

A resource list will be made available to all participants.

This workshop brings together two presenters: a longtime grief counselor who shares her wisdom and experience, and a suicide loss survivor who shares her journey of grieving and learning, after her son died by suicide.
