HYBRID Tribal/UIO Minerva 2.0 Biennial Data Refresh Training

This is aone dayhybridtrainingfor theMinerva 2.0 Biennial Data Refreshfor Tribes and Urban Indian Organizations. Virtual participation will be via Zoom and in-person training will take place at the Washington State Health Care Authority in Olympia. This training will be recorded.

Who should attend?Tribal and UIO prevention and support staff responsible for prevention data entry in Minerva. In-person limit: 25 participants.

Guiding Good Choices Facilitator Training - Pasco

WSU Extension is offering a Facilitator Training for Guiding Good Choices (GGC). The training is three days and attendees MUST be able to attend all days of training. Training will introduce participants to GGC and provide professional development for how to facilitate GGC. The training will also teach about the development and benefits of the Social Development Strategy, which is the basis of this evidence-based prevention program for parents of youth in middle childhood.

Growing the positive in your community, part two (In-person)

ESD 113, in partnership with the Washington State Healthcare Authority, is offering a two-part training series called "Growing the positive in your community." This training series is led by the Montana Institute and is an introduction to the science of positive community norms. Explore, discuss, practice, and reflect on integrating positive norms into your messages and communications surrounding attitudes and behaviors among youth around substance use.

Generational Clarity (Trauma Informed Strategies): An Indigenous Perspective April 6, 2023-9am - 4pm PT-Auburn, WA

Thisin-person, interactive workshop will provide participants an opportunity to develop an understanding of how the historical experience of American Indians and Alaska Natives connects to Intergenerational Trauma, ongoing discrimination, racism, lateral violence, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE).
