Structural inequities affecting prevention practice series: Equity in people

The Mid America PTTC has invited Nicole Augustine to lead a lunch-n-learn series to help participants understand the Structural Inequities Affecting Prevention Practice. This five-part series will be conducted over the lunch hour, June 19 to 23, and while we can't send door-dash to everyone, we will provide insight into addressing inequity.

  • Monday, June 19 - Session 1: Foundational concepts
  • Tuesday, June 20 - Session 2: Focus on ACEs
  • Wednesday, June 21 - Session 3: Equity in data
  • Thursday, June 22 - Session 4: Equity in people
  • Friday, June 23 - Session 5: Equity in action

Nicole Augustine has been working in the field of prevention since 2001 and is the creator and founder of RIZE Consultants, LLC. She will connect to her audience in a unique way, utilizing Zoom and other social media apps.

Nicole's experience will bring to life a balance of topics during each day of the series, including why equity matters, and equity in data, building capacity, planning and action.
