Share facts about fentanyl: National Fentanyl Awareness Day, May 7

Tuesday, May 7, is National Fentanyl Awareness Day and an opportunity to educate your communities about the risks of fentanyl and encourage everyone to take action to address the overdose crisis.

Washington’s Friends for Life fentanyl education campaign has created a series of National Fentanyl Awareness Day social media posts available to download and share on your organization’s social media channels. The kit includes ready-to-use graphics, videos (including a naloxone demonstration video), and captions that highlight three main calls to action for your community: Get the facts about fentanyl, know about naloxone, and talk to teens about fentanyl.

Help raise awareness: Go to the Friends for Life prevention toolkit page, look for “National Fentanyl Awareness Day Social Posts,” download the folder of materials, and start sharing on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media channels.
