Join us for an engaging, interactive training designed to strengthen your understanding of ethical practice and build confidence in applying ethical principles to real-world prevention work.

Prevention Ethics Training

Date: July 20, 2026

Time: 9:00 am- 4:00 pm US/Central (with a 1-hour lunch break between 12:00 pm-1:00 pm CT)

During this training, participants will explore the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) Prevention Code of Ethics and develop practical strategies for recognizing and navigating ethical challenges encountered in prevention practice.

  • Define key ethical terminology.
  • Identify the six core principles of the IC&RC Prevention Code of Ethics.
  • Apply ethical principles to prevention practice and decision-making.

Participants who successfully complete all course requirements will receive a Certificate of Participation documenting 6 hours of Prevention Ethics training.

This training is presented through a collaboration between the PTTC Network Coordinating Center and Prevention Training Services (PTS) and will be led by nationally recognized prevention leaders Julie Stevens, MPS, ACPS, ICPS, and Mitchell Moore, BAT, LCDC, ICPS, IADC.
