Helping children thrive: research investments in whole child health and wellbeing
The challenges facing children—from mental health and substance use to cancer and healthy development—are deeply interconnected. How can a whole child approach help translate research into better outcomes for children, families, and communities?
On June 24 from 10am-5pm EST, leadership from five NIH institutes and nationally recognized child health, development, and wellbeing experts from the Decade of the Child Committee will come together for a full-day discussion on emerging research priorities and how federal investments can strengthen the systems, policies, and practices that support children and families.
Why attend?
Hear directly from NIH leadership and several leading experts about the research shaping the future of child health and wellbeing. Participants will gain insight into emerging research priorities, innovative studies, and evidence-based strategies that can inform policy, guide practice, strengthen programs, and support decision-making across child- and family-serving systems. The discussion will also highlight opportunities for cross-sector collaboration and future directions for whole child health research.
Whether you can join for one session or the entire day, we encourage you to register. Session times and speaker information are available on the event webpage. All registrants will receive the recording and event materials following the webinar.
