This webinar will describe kratom and 7-OH, address nationwide and state trends, and discuss evidence-informed strategies for prevention. It will conclude with a panel comprised of prevention professionals involved in successful kratom prevention legislation in Washington.

Attendees will:

  1. Understand what kratom and 7-OH are, including effects on the human body.
  2. Understand trends in kratom usage nationwide and in Washington.
  3. Be able to choose evidence-informed strategies to prevent kratom use.
  4. Identify core components of effective, cross-sector legislation and policy efforts.
