Region 10 Prevention Certification Intensive Technical Assistance (TA) Opportunity
Are you ready to take those last steps to obtaining your Certified Prevention Professional (CPP) credential? This free, Intensive Technical Assistance (TA) opportunity is geared for individuals seeking their Prevention Certification in Region 10, who desire coaching to meet the three E’s of Certification: Education, Experience, and the Exam! The seven-week TA series will include a mix of technical assistance, focusing on individual needs to completing the application process, as well as focused training sessions on what to expect in the CPS exam and an overview of competencies you will tested on. Two cohorts will run concurrently, one taking place on Tuesdays, and one on Wednesdays, starting February 2026.
Throughout the seven week intensive TA, participants will be able to:
- Create a training plan to identify the remaining educational training hours needed to complete the certification process.
- Identify how their prevention and related experience fits into the required 2,000 hours for the CPS.
- Increase their confidence in the CPS competencies and feel prepared to sit for the CPS exam.
