In 2020, Oregon voters passed the Oregon Psilocybin Services Act, which directed the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to implement the nation’s first licensing and regulatory framework for the production of psilocybin and provision of psilocybin services. In recent years, growing evidence suggests that psilocybin may help reduce depression, anxiety, end of life distress, trauma, and substance use disorders. The Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS) section works from this body of evidence to create effective and thoughtful services that are in alignment with OHA’s strategic goals to better serve the state’s population.

By viewing this webinar, participants will learn how this new health and wellness option aligns with the state’s most pressing public health priorities.
