Northwest Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Collaborative (NW ROTAC) funding sunsets
Thank you for your continued interest in the Northwest Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Collaborative (NW ROTAC). Since 2022, we’ve been honored to support rural communities across Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington in “doing what works” to address opioid use and behavioral health challenges. This work has been made possible through the dedication and insight of our community partners and rural behavioral health providers—like you.
As our funding comes to a close, we are winding down our training and technical assistance activities. While we are no longer able to offer the same level of support, we remain committed to keeping the resources we’ve developed accessible to best serve your needs.
To that end, we are transitioning our website into a repository of on-demand trainings, tools, and resources. These materials will remain accessible to support your ongoing work in rural behavioral health and opioid response.
County-based Resource Guides
Our county-based behavioral health resources guides have been widely used and distributed across the region. Guides for Idaho, Oregon, and Washington will remain on our website. Guides for Alaska are migrating to University of Alaska Anchorage.
On-Demand Trainings and Self-Paced Learning
Our on-demand trainings will remain available, including continuing education opportunities through NAADAC. The new contingency management online learning course will also continue to be accessible.
Toolkits, Research Briefs, and Impact Reports
Additional materials such as our SAMHSA-adapted Community Conversations about Behavioral Health curriculum, radio promotion toolkit, and Youth Engagement Resource Guide continue to be available. Our research briefs and impact reports are being migrated and will be available soon.
We will continue to provide updates on the website as capacity allows but we will not be sending out monthly newsletters. Thank you for being part of this journey with us—we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to work alongside you in strengthening rural communities. We look forward to reconnecting in the future.
Warm regards,
The NW ROTAC Team
