Guiding Good Choices New Facilitator Training (Virtual)

WSU Extension is offering a virtual new facilitator training for Guiding Good Choices. The training is one-week long and attendees MUST be able to attend all days of training. The first four days of the training have a midday break and attendees are expected to return promptly for the afternoon sessions. Day five will have only one 3-hour session. See training dates and times below.

Training (via Zoom) will:
• introduce participants to GGC,
• provide professional development for how to facilitate GGC,
• facilitate participant’s learning of the development and benefits of the Social Development Strategy--the foundation of the evidence-based prevention program for parents of youth in middle childhood,
• will provide participants with opportunities to explore and discuss options for both virtual and in-person delivery.

Registration is required. The training is open to the first 16 people who register. A waiting list will be developed if needed based on registration numbers.

URGENT NOTE: Attendees are responsible for purchasing material prior to the training. You will need to make 2 purchases, including a Membership Subscription (either 1 year or 3 years) AND the GGC Workshop Leader Guide. If you are not able to purchase the material, please let us know prior to the training as you may need to register for a later training course if your materials do not arrive by training day.

• Wednesday, February 19, 2025 | 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm
• Thursday, February 20, 2025 | 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm
• Friday, February 21, 2025 | 10am-1pm
