WSU Extension is offering a new facilitator training for Guiding Good Choices (GGC). The training is for three days and attendees MUST be able to attend all days of training.

WSU Extension is offering a virtual new facilitator training for Guiding Good Choices. The training is one-week long and attendees MUST be able to attend all days of training. The first four days of the training have a midday break and attendees are expected to return promptly for the afternoon sessions. Day five will have only one 3-hour session. Today, 74 percent of people living in the U.S. live in a state where cannabis has been legalized for either adult use (recreational) and/or medical use.  While most cannabis policy development has occurred at the state level, the federal government is currently exploring impactful changes to federal cannabis law.

In this session, the learning objectives are: 

• Identify ways to educate community members and decision makers to support prevention and public health best practices.
