The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR) has identified funding to provide financial support for prevention partners to attend various conferences. These conferences provide training on prevention theory, strategic planning, coalition development, cultural competency, reducing health disparities, community organizing, and/or the Strategic Prevention Framework. These conferences are open to all interested individuals. For those already receiving prevention funding from DBHR, requests will be reviewed with your prevention system manager and reviewed with other trainings and activities in your approved budgets.

Only registration costs can be covered by these scholarships. You will need to use other funds to cover expenses such as travel and per diem.

Please complete the application to indicate which conferences you need registration funding support for and provide additional information on need and how training will build capacity in your community.

All scholarship applications will be reviewed within two (2) weeks of the DBHR scholarship submission deadline for a given conference. Our scholarships are first come first served, so please get your application in quickly!

Scholarships cannot be provided via registration reimbursement. If approved, DBHR staff will coordinate with applicant to complete registration process.

To be considered, please submit your application to prevention@hca.wa.govThe deadline for CADCA NLF submissions is Wednesday, December 11 at 5 p.m. Applications are subject to pending funding availability.
