Listening Sessions: Help Shape Youth & Young Adult Prevention Campaign

Submitted by ACarr on

HCA and its creative agency, DH, are hosting a series of listening sessions October 6-8, 2026, to inform a revamped statewide prevention campaign focused on substance use prevention—specifically alcohol and cannabis—and wellness for youth and young adults in Washington.
Building on previous campaign work, this new and refreshed campaign will be shaped by the voices, experiences, and strengths of the people and organizations closest to communities and working alongside youth and young adults every day.

The sessions are open to prevention coalition partners, Tribal prevention partners, community-based organizations, and other prevention/behavioral health professionals. Register for a session below to participate:

  • Prevention professionals and partners who primarily serve youth/young adults in English-speaking communities
  • Prevention professionals and partners who primarily serve youth/young adults in Spanish-speaking communities (sessions will be facilitated in Spanish)
    • Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm: Register here.
    • Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm: Register here.
  • Tribal prevention professionals and partners

These sessions will help inspire the updated strategies, messages, and creative ideas that will bring the campaign to life, ensuring it reflects community realities, honors cultural values and lived experiences, and builds on the powerful prevention work already happening every day.
