Youth Engagement Opportunity: WA State Comprehensive Climate Action Plan Youth Engagement Workgroup
The Washington Climate Partnership is a statewide effort to plan near and long-term strategies to meet Washington’s ambitious climate goals for 2030 and beyond.
We are currenting seeking input from young people across Washington on the state’s new Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP). Young leaders are invited to participate in a workgroup to develop and facilitate a state-wide Youth Engagement Event in August.
The workgroup will include 8-15 participants aged 16-26 years old and will meet 4 times over the course of August and September.
The workgroup will plan and host a statewide virtual engagement event focused on receiving input from young people on the new WA Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP).
Workgroup participants will be eligible to receive stipends of up to $57 per hour. If selected, workgroup participants must commit to meeting on the following dates and times.
- August 9, 1:00PM-3:00PM
- August 16, 1:00PM-3:00PM
- August 23, 1:00PM-3:00PM
- September 6, 1:00PM-2:00PM
Workgroup Participant Applications are due by 5:00PM on Friday, July 18.
