Youth Empowerment Coffee Hour
Do you work with youth, or support other adults who do?
Join statewide community health and prevention partners and colleagues as they share what's been successful, what hasn't, troubleshoot barriers together, and share opportunities and ideas that relate to our Washington youth.
This laid back, “coffee-hour” style monthly call is open to those in the public/community health and prevention fields who work directly with youth or support those who do. The calls are co-hosted by coordinators from Washington's Youth Cannabis and Commercial Tobacco Prevention Program (YCCTPP) and Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative (CPWI). YCCTPP contractors and subcontractors are encouraged to attend, as are CPWI & DFC coalition coordinators and members, student assistance professionals, prevention/intervention specialists, and those from other youth serving organizations. If you do prevention work with young people in Washington state, please join us! We meet over Zoom on the last Wednesday of every month at 2:30pm. Get the calendar event and Zoom link here.
You are welcome to forward this invitation to those you know who might be interested – no prevention experience necessary!
