988 promotional social marketing campaign research opportunity for CPWI communities

The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) is currently working on an upcoming 988 promotional social marketing campaign and would like to invite CPWI communities to be part of their research process. Social marketing campaigns are used in public health to affect positive change through social media platforms. The purpose of this social marketing campaign is to promote 988 resources in communities, statewide.

As many of you have worked in mental health promotion and/or suicide prevention and are familiar with 988, DOH is hoping that you will consider providing your insight and experience to inform and strategize the campaign direction. This information will be collected through short interviews and will help DOH identify their priority audiences, what messages resonate well, what language to avoid, etc.

If you are interested in participating, you may sign-up to become a stakeholder. You will have the option to schedule a one-hour group meeting, a 30-minute one-on-one meeting, or simply complete a feedback form.

Please email Chantel Wang with any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration!
