NW HIDTA Request for Prevention Proposals Launch

NW HIDTA is launching a request for prevention proposals in October 2026. This webinar will provide guidance regarding the NW HIDTA prevention request for proposals. Registrants will also receive proposal documents and information about deadlines and expectations. 

Organizations are eligible to apply if they:

• Work to prevent illicit drug use (including enhancing protective factors and reducing risk factors).
• Operate in a Northwest HIDTA county (Benton, Clark, Cowlitz, Grant, Franklin, King, Kitsap, Lewis, Pierce, Skagit, Snohomish, Spokane, Thurston, Whatcom, and Yakima).

Proposals will be due on December 11, 2026. Funding will begin on July 1, 2027 and end on June 30, 2029. Organizations can apply for a maximum of $50,000.00 per year.
