This live, virtual training series is designed to prepare coalition members and leaders, school staff, youth-serving agencies and other prevention practitioners to use the Social Development Strategy (SDS) in their work. The SDS is an approach for promoting protective factors among youth and communities, strengthening social connections, and using positive interactions to protect young people from risky behaviors.

This workshop is interactive and includes presentations, breakout room conversations, and large group discussions. To participate fully, trainees are required to have access to the internet via a computer/laptop (not a mobile device or tablet) with a camera and microphone. Participants must complete Day 1 prior to attending Day 2.

Day 1: Wednesday, May 20, 2026

Day 2: Wednesday, May 27, 2026

Registration deadline: April 30, 2026
