Environmental Prevention Efforts and Positive Norms

We invite you to join us on September 19th from 3:30-5:30 at ESD 105 in discussing and planning environmental prevention efforts to create positive social norms in our schools and community. Dr. Wambeam joins us from the University of Wyoming as a Senior Research Scientist who has done extensive research on the strategic prevention framework in Wyoming, Oregon and Washington. The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery has made Dr. Wambeam accessible to coalitions as they develop and build partnerships for environmental prevention efforts. 

ABOUT RODNEY
Rodney Wambeam, Ph.D. is a Senior Research Scientist at the Wyoming Survey & Analysis Center of the University of Wyoming. Dr. Wambeam was principle investigator of Wyoming’s SIG and SPF SIG evaluations and is currently principle investigator of Wyoming’s Prevention Block Grant and PFS evaluations as well as Oregon’s SPF SIG evaluation. He is author of “The Community Needs Assessment Workbook” from Lyceum Books. In his free time, Rodney coaches short track speed skating and acts in his son’s movies.
