This webinar, “Expanding Capacity: The Adaptive, The Technical, and The Tools,” explores how individuals and organizations can strengthen their ability to grow impact and efficiency of efforts to address the complex challenges facing young people today.

Participants will learn to distinguish between adaptive challenges—the deeper, people-centered issues that require shifts in culture, mindset, and relationships—and technical challenges—the systems, processes, and procedures that can be improved through practical solutions. We’ll explore both sides of this work and share tools, templates, and strategies that can help communities build understanding and action.

Learning objectives

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Identify adaptive challenges and considerations to building collaboration and setting direction for partners in youth behavioral health.
• Identify technical challenges and considerations that can be addressed through structured planning, coordination, and process improvement.
• Gain tools and templates to strengthen local capacity, support collaboration, and guide effective decision-making in local initiatives.
• Review examples of successful adaption and implementation of tools.
