Backwards planning: A strategic planning method to do more with less
In our field, we are often required to wear many different hats to do anything from social media PR, website design, to policy change, and more. It is easy to feel lost or become overwhelmed. Outcome oriented work brings us clarity, helps us feel more fulfilled, and reduces burnout. Backward planning as a strategic method helps us start with our desired outcomes and work backwards to outline and prioritize actionable steps that produce those outcomes. In this action-oriented session, you will work alongside your professional peers to get clear about your ideal outcomes, identify key action steps/milestones, and schedule high value tasks. Learn and practice this transformative planning process.
