Intensive technical assistance for CPWI providers

Submitted by wilsokl107 on

The Washington State Health Care Authority's (HCA) Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR) is excited to announce that intensive technical assistance (TA) for CPWI providers is now available through UW's SDRG.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

  • What's the purpose of intensive TA?
    • To receive support or guidance on a request that can't seem to be resolved by your prevention manager and the CPWI lead.
  • When can I use intensive TA?
    • If your prevention manager is unable to resolve a TA request, they will elevate your request to the CPWI lead. If the CPWI lead is unable to resolve your request, they will refer your request to SDRG. Your prevention manager will guide you through this process.
  • How much intensive TA can I receive?
    • This is determined on a case-by-case basis. SDRG will work with you to develop a case plan, outlining the recommended number, frequency, and duration of TA sessions. A total of eight hours of intensive TA are available on a monthly basis for CPWI providers.
    • In addition to intensive TA, SDRG hosts four strategic planning office hours each month. CPWI providers are encouraged to attend these sessions to receive TA in a group setting. View the event calendar on The Athena Forum for upcoming dates.
  • Who can I contact for more information?
    • Please reach out to your prevention manager with any questions.
