Key Responsibilities Include
Management and Leadership:
- Lead four program staff, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Work with the Community Partnership Manager to develop program initiatives.
- Provide regular feedback, set clear goals, and offer professional development to support staff growth.
Strategic Planning and Program Implementation:
- Coordinate and evaluate activities for the CDC National and State Tobacco Control Grant and the program's strategic plan.
- Work with national, state, and local partners to prioritize community-driven strategies.
- Manage the program budget, ensure stable funding, and improve processes for efficiency.
- Use culturally relevant interventions to increase the program's reach and impact.
Representation and Advocacy:
- Present the program's successes to various audiences, including at national conferences.
- Provide expert advice on preventing tobacco and cannabis use.
- Represent the program in state coalitions and other collaborative groups.
