Winter NICWA News: Storytelling Edition

The National Indian Child Welfare Association (NICWA) proudly shares the Winter issue of NICWA News. This issue embraces the oral tradition, Storytelling.

NICWA sees the impact of storytelling in daily work, from rallying advocates to ensuring training lessons stick long after the class. Whenever a child welfare worker or a family going through the system shares their experience, we are reminded of the power of storytelling, which helps empathize, connect, and relate. By telling stories, a sense of belonging to community is increased through a shared purpose as advocates.
