988 one-year anniversary

Last month marked the one-year anniversary of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, which launched in July 2022.

In honor of this milestone, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has updated the 988 Partner Toolkit to include a variety of new social media text and chat shareables, including Spanish-language social media shareables and materials.
