Connected for Kids launch
National Prevention Science Coalition

Connected for Kids is a new national effort to align research, policy, and practice so that children experience connection, belonging, and opportunity wherever they live and learn. Led by Child Trends and the Thrive Center at Georgetown University, the initiative brings together leaders across education, health, youth development, mental health, and community development to co-create a shared roadmap for flourishing in the elementary years.
These “missing middle” years are a turning point. They carry early childhood investments forward and keep kids on track into adolescence, at a time when AI, social media, and isolation are reshaping childhood. The silos that fragment our work are not our fault, but we have the collective power to break them down. We can do more by doing it together. Connected for Kids is a roadmap to get there.
This webinar marks the beginning of a national effort to connect the dots between what we know from science and what children experience every day. You’ll hear from national leaders about how we can build a more connected, coordinated approach to help every child grow up healthy, supported, and full of possibility.
