Helping people manage problematic feelings
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based practice for the assessment, treatment, and management of youth and adults presenting with risky behavior. This webinar will define dysregulation and its role in risky behavior as a foundation for highlighting emotion regulation coping skills, a key component of DBT that can be incorporated in the treatment and management of people at risk irrespective of diagnosis and treatment modality. Presenters will describe key components and techniques for developing emotion regulation coping skills and how to engage people in utilizing them to better manage their emotions and relationships.
