We warmly welcome you to join us for the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine's Spring 2021 Proseminar in Social Medicine. The second lecture in the Spring '21 series, "The Urban American Indian Traditional Spirituality Program: Community Engagement and Cultural Adaptation in Indigenous Health" by Dr. Joseph Gone, will be held on Wednesday, Feb 24, 2021 at 12pm EST via Zoom.

Dr. Gone is an international expert in the psychology and mental health of American Indians and other Indigenous peoples. A professor at Harvard University, Dr. Gone has collaborated with tribal communities for 25 years to re-envision conventional mental health services for advancing Indigenous well-being.

Dr. Gone will be joined by discussant Dr. Byron Good, Professor of Medical Anthropology
