Webinar: Targeted self-care for uniquely stressful times

Being an essential worker during the COVID-19 pandemic can feel overwhelming and stressful for a myriad of reasons. Helping professionals report increased and unique work demands, struggling to take care of oneself and others during work hours, loss of social outlets, and loss of the ability to connect with others. Additional stressors may include a fear or dread of oncoming illness and the potential loss of friends and loved ones. More of us are experiencing anxiety, fear, anger, sadness, and helplessness each day. Self-care is essential to maintain your physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual health. The PEMSS model is a holistic approach that focuses on five areas (Physical, Emotional, Mental, Social and Spiritual) and the proper implementation of direct self-care in these areas. Using this model will eradicate the challenge of identifying effective self-care behaviors so that one can maintain personal and professional well-being in the face of uniquely stressful times.
