Webinar: Mentoring with Native Communities

Join us for a conversation on mentoring in Native American communities. Guiding, supportive, and encouraging relationships between elders and youth have been an essential and time-honored practice in communities. Mentoring is natural in Native American communities where there is a tradition of respect for the importance of family and the honoring of elders. MENTOR Washington, a support organization that walks alongside programs and communities as they provide quality mentoring to young people, recognizes the cultural importance of mentors in native communities and would like to connect with those that are or want to implement mentor programs for the youth in their areas.
