Webinar: Forum for Children's Well-Being: Workshop on children in immigrant families

The Forum for Children’s Well-Being will host a virtual public workshop on April 21, 2021. This joint workshop with the Brandeis University Institute for Child, Youth, and Family will explore the research evidence on immigrant families' access to U.S. social programs and its effects on children's mental, emotional, behavioral, and physical well-being. During this 90 minute workshop, panelists will discuss the negative physical, cognitive, and behavioral health impacts of current immigration policies on children; and highlight promising public policy approaches that can mitigate these impacts and promote healthy childhood.
