Webinar: Commercial tobacco cessation learning community: Tribal casinos re-opening 100% smoke-free: The new normal

The National Indian Health Board (NIHB) is pleased to announce a Commercial Tobacco Cessation Community Learning Webinar Series. This series will highlight tobacco cessation in in Indian Country. Over the course of the series, topics covered include efforts to make gaming facilities smoke-free, tobacco cessation with youth, and more.

Join NIHB on Tuesday, January 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm EST for the first webinar in this series. This webinar will cover tobacco cessation in the Navajo Nation, and the efforts happening to make their gaming facilities smoke-free. Hershel Clark, from the Navajo Nation, will share his approach his team has been working through and the lessons learned to make casinos smoke-free. This webinar is designed for community members, Tribal health and behavioral health professionals, and partners to learn more about tobacco cessation in Indian Country and the work being done to address this issue.
