Description: Tracy Klein, PhD, ARNP will describe the difference between medical and recreational use of Cannabis, as well as the conditions for which the medical use of Cannabis is supported by research. She will also review the diagnosis of Cannabis Use Disorder (CUD) and share tools and resources available for clinical risk assessment. 


Objectives:

  1. Define conditions for which medical use of cannabis is supported by research
  2. Describe the differential diagnosis, incidence, and sequalae of CUD
  3. Evaluate tools and resources available for risk assessment and referral of CUD
