A new Congress and President take office in January with a full slate of health care issues on the agenda. While managing the coronavirus response will be a top priority for the Biden Administration, policymakers are also expected to focus heavily on the substance use and mental health impacts of the pandemic. In this presentation, we will examine how the central policy discussions of the 117th Congress will impact the addiction profession. We will also explore the critical role advocacy plays in shaping federal addiction policy.
