The documentary GATEWAY presents the story of three families inadvertently impacted by opioid addiction that began with a prescription to manage pain after surgery. The documentary is presented by Choices Matter – a national movement designed to educate and empower patients to have proactive discussions with their clinicians about available non-opioid options for managing pain after surgery.
Join our organizations as we do a special screening of this documentary on Wednesday, November 10th from 6 p.m.-7:30 pm. and host a short Townhall afterward with professionals and youth in our community. We are open to answering your questions about the opioid epidemic. This will be an online event and after your registration, you will be sent a zoom link. This will also be on Facebook Live as well on the Sunnyside United Unidos Page.
