In this Lunch & Learn session from the University of Washington's Addictions, Drug & Alcohol Institute (ADAI), Annesa Flentje, Ph.D., Associate Professor, University of California, San Francisco, will outline what we know about the health disparities that exist among sexual and gender minority (i.e., LGBTQ+) individuals, how we understand these mechanistically through the minority stress model, and approaches to reduce minority stress to alleviate these health disparities.
