Strengthening Families Program 10-14 New Facilitator Training - NOTE: REGISTRATION CLOSED

NOTICE: Training site capacity for this training has been met and registration is now closed.

This training will be in-person and is for SFP 10-14 new facilitators who will be working in a team of three to deliver the evidence-based prevention program to families in their local communities.

The training will include:

  • an introduction to SFP 10-14,
  • review and practice of the 7-week program in a team setting,
  • review of the research and current updates,
  • discussion- and experiential-based engagement with the curriculum and participants,
  • readiness-primer to discuss implementation, logistics, technology, recruitment and retention, and
  • technical support for next steps.

Training Dates: February 7-9, 2022 NOTE: Due to the increase of COVID-19 cases and site restrictions to the public, the training has been moved one week later. New date for training will be  February 14-16, 2022

Time: 9 am - 4:30 pm

Location: Lower Yakima Valley - Denny Blaine Building, Board Room. 810 Custer Avenue, Sunnyside, WA 98944. (The parking lot is in between two buildings. The Board Room is in the building to the east. Call (509) 840-9680 if lost.
