Re-Imagining Behavioral Health: Race, Equity and Social Justice

Thursday, September 29, 12 pm - 5 p.m. and Friday, September 30,  8 am - 1 p.m.

This 2-half day virtual conference will explore the intersectionality of substance use disorders, mental health, and social justice. The event is designed to empower individuals and teams who want to advance health equity and support diversity and inclusion in behavioral health care.

The conference is an opportunity to connect with others and join in a meaningful conversation about healing racial trauma, dismantling racism, combating systemic racism and social injustices through the lens of mental health and substance use issues.
After the conference, using key concepts from the presentations and panel discussions a “Call to Action” series will be created to provide ongoing training and learning collaboratives for behavioral health care providers and organizations who are interested in making real change.
