Guiding Good Choices - Guiando Buenas Decisiones New Facilitator Training (Spanish Language Delivery)

New facilitator training and certification is being offered for Guiding Good Choices - Guiando Buenas Decisiones. This training will be conducted in Spanish for new facilitators and sites planning to implement in their local communities for Spanish speaking families. Training (via Zoom) will introduce participants to GGC/GBD and the adaptations for virtual program delivery. The training is one-week long and attendees MUST be able to attend all days of training for full certification.  The first four days of the training have a mid-day break and attendees are expected to return promptly for the afternoon sessions.

Days and times of training: January 10-14, 2022 [Monday through Friday]

  • January 10 (Monday) 9a-11a and 1p-3p
  • January 11 (Tuesday) 9a-11a and 1p-3p
  • January 12 (Wednesday) 9a-11a and 1p-3p
  • January 13 (Thursday) 9a-11a and 1p-3p
  • January 14 (Friday) 9a-12p

Training Fee: $0.0; Participant must purchase subscription and curriculum guides (see COSTS below)

Registration: Required via link below - The training is open to the first 16 people who pre-register.  Your pre-registration is not confirmed until you recieve a confirmation email from Zoom.

Costs: Attendees MUST purchase material prior to the training.  Please visit the University of Washington's GGC CoMotion website.  Facilitators will need to purchase a Membership Subscription (either 1 year or 3 years) AND the GGC Workshop Leader Guide License (under downloads on the website).  If you are not able to purchase the material in time to receive the curriculum manual (via postal mail), please register for a later training.
